Skate Canada Membership

When you register with the Paris Figure Skating Club for any of its programs, you will also be required to register as a member of Skate Canada, our national governing body.  Skate Canada membership ($60.00) is mandatory and includes insurance coverage, as well as other benefits, such as allowing skaters to participate in competitions and tests.

Skate Canada Helmet Policy

Canskate Stage 5 and lower must wear a CSA approved hockey helmet.  Review the Skate Canada policy  and the PFSC Helmet Use Policy

All club members must pay a fundraising fee ($40) which is used to support the club and its various programs.  Again this year, our mandatory fundraising activity will be the Skate Ontario Promotional Lottery.  Each skater will receive one book of tickets to sell.  You can earn $40 of your fundraising fee back when you sell the entire book of tickets.

Guest Skating

Guest skating will be permitted if skaters have met the specific criteria and coordinated their guest skating with the club.   Details are outlined in our Guest Skating/Make Up Session Policy
